Can a flower girl be of any age?

at a wedding

?
Can a flower girl be of any age?
Acutally most flower girls are under the age of 10.

In reality you can have the flower girl be any age, yet folks would wonder why. If she is older, then make her a jr bridesmaid or if she is tall enough, a full bridesmaid or an usherette to hand out programs or something at the wedding itself.. then she will always be included.

Hope that helps.
Reply:It%26#039;s your wedding your money... Go for it...
Reply:Usually from four to 10.
Reply:Teenagers shouldnt be flower girls it would be embarrassing. I would agree that they need to be ten or under!!!
Reply:well i always thought that its nicer is they are under 8, my daughter is ten and thinks she is too old to be a flowergirl, yet she is not sure about being a bridesmaid.

I hope this helps.
Reply:Usually you see small girls (10 or under) being flower girls but brides get to do pretty much what they want at their wedding so if your aunt wants you to do it and you want to do it I see no reason for you not to.
Reply:I%26#039;ve seen adult flower girls in weddings - it can be whatever you want.

When I got married 3 years ago, our flower girl was 4 years old and I think that%26#039;s usually the average.
Reply:THEY CAN BE ANY AGE YOU WANT THEM TO BE , IT IS JUST SO CUTE WHEN THEY ARE YOUNG LITTLE ONES.
Reply:The guy says

%26quot;The job of a flower girl at a formal wedding is to walk down the aisle looking cute as the dickens, so everyone goes “awww.%26quot;

I myself belive under 9 butas this site says http://www.pegeen.com/flower-girl-dresse... it depends on the girl i remember a 14 yr old on Ya who was happy to be flower girl if the girl is happy and your Aunt is happy why not?
Reply:Most flower girls are 9 or younger but actually I%26#039;ve only known flower girls that were 5 or younger with one exception. One girl I knew in college had 5 bridesmaids and 5 flower girls. All 10 were college age. She didn%26#039;t want anyone of her friends to feel left out so she made her friends from home bridesmaids and her friends that she knew only in college to be flower girls. I must say it looked ridiculous.
Reply:Hi. No...a flower girl cannot be any age.

Traditionally, flower girls are between the ages of 4-8. You could maybe stretch it to 9 or 10....but that would be the cutoff. Anyone older than 10 should be a junior bridesmaid.
Reply:you could have a %26quot;junior bridesmaid%26quot; which would be a girl who is too old to be a flower girl but still a little too young to be a bridesmaid....
Reply:Our flower girl (my niece) will be 2 by the time the wedding rolls around in 134 days!

I%26#039;m prepared for whatever....she%26#039;s a teeny little thing, but I%26#039;m just so delighted to have her there sharing in our day.
Reply:yes of course they can...ask who ever you want =D

congrats if ur gettin married by the way

xxx
Reply:Yes they can. mine is 10. i was thinking to have the grandma%26#039;s throw pedals down but decided that MY grandma wouldnt do it so i went with a flower girl! :)
Reply:Yes y of course they can
Reply:flower girls can be of any age..but it would be awkward to have a teenager or older as a flower girl. People might mistake her to be a bridesmaid, and leave them to wonder where the flower girl is.make up
