Is petunia flower bisexual?

Yes ! They are Bisexual or hermaphrodite.





Petunia is a widely-cultivated genus of flowering plants of South American origin, in the family Solanaceae.





The popular flower got its name from French, which took the word petun %26#039;tobacco%26#039; from a Tupi-Guarani language.





Most of the varieties seen in gardens are hybrids.





A wide range of flower colors and sizes are available.








Some botanists place the plants of the genus Calibrachoa in the genus Petunia.








Botanically, tobacco plants and petunias are related and in both the flowers are bisexual . The family Solanaceae to which both of them belong contains has bisexual flowers only .





Other related plants are Tomato, Chillies or Capsicum, Potato and egg plant or Brinjal along with Datura and Cestrum.
